A nice big building to explore, with the help of my friend Sophie, shortly before it was due to be brought back to life from this derelict state.

In what has become a recurring theme in my work, I like the juxtaposition of a human figure with the so very inhuman world we sometimes create. Spaces like this no longer seem to suit humans, despite being built only for us. In this case I also really enjoy the odd splash of colour that brings a little life to this otherwise very dead space, and that it is so delightfully bright thanks to the mostly light walls and summer sun.
